We’ll All die

I woke up today a day closer
To the day I die
And everyone I hold dear similarly neared
Their certain demise
So I put a little more love into all my hi’s, love you (too)s, and goodbyes
A little more humility into all my handshakes
And a little more kindness into all my interactions
In case, alas, they may be my last.

More Humility into all my handshakes
And more kindness into all my interactions
In case, alas, they may be their last.
