Indigo Skies

on a clear starry night
indigo skies
give way to
a gentle dawn
held in a whisper blue

I sit with a silken sunrise
trying out my new solstice dawn
light embers 
spread overhead
creating our lake's sky dome 

ever changing 
cerulean blue
and raspberry plum
a true mixed palate
flowing
