Lissa is a recently retired librarian from The University of Kansas. Professionally, she wrote academic articles while concentrating on the computer code behind the words. HTML was a vision of her concept of early reading. Writing words in code is art to her. The experience of building websites paved the way for the avocation of putting words and art together in an artform she calls WordLayers.
She's exhibited WordLayers prints in the Kansas City area at Westport Coffeehouse, Waldo Pizza, Eden Alley Cafe, All Souls Unitarian Universalist Church, and Gallery Hall at Unity Temple on the Plaza.
